An unforgettable evening soaked in Champagne… get ready to meet, greet, toast & drink with all the festival’s superstars – chef de caves, growers, Champagne house owners, ambassadors, sommeliers, Champagne friends, lovers, and admirers!

First, the winemakers will personally present, discuss, and pour their carefully selected champagnes!

Second, you will be entertained by stories from Peter Liem, one of the world’s leading Champagne authorities (www.peterliem.com) , and festival’s founder Aigars Nords, and other experts and charmers like Mārtiņš Pīlēns, one of the pioneers of the grower Champagne movement in Latvia!

Third, as our tradition goes, bring your own favourite champagnes along to enjoy & share with fellow champagne lovers.

Special guests of the evening:

Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy, owner and winemaker of Champagne Geoffroy, one of the best known Marne valley based Champagne growers from Cumières, a premier cru village. By the way, Geoffroy’s champagnes have repeatedly won gold and silver medals at our Wine of the Year competition. Champagne Geoffroy’s representative in Latvia: Baltic XL

Benoit Tarlant, owner and winemaker of Champagne Tarlant. Benoit’s family has been growing wines in Champagne since the 17th century, while the current estate of 14 hectares is overseen by Benoit and his sister Mélanie. Tarlant’s champagnes are exquisite ambassadors of the Marne Valley – champagnes are aged in oak, amphorae, and are always distinguished by their individuality. Champagne Tarlant’s representative in Latvia: Barents Wine Collectors

Jean-Emmanuel Bonnaire, a superstar of the Côte des Blancs chardonnay sub-region in Champagne. Bonnaire’s creamy champagnes are produced mostly in Cramant and other grand and premier vineyards. Champagne Bonnaire’s representative in Latvia: Vieta

Thibaud Brocard, a rising star in the Côte des Bar region of Champagne! It’s just a decade since Thibaud took over the family business, however, Champagne Pierre Brocard have already become one of the most exciting ambassadors of Pinot Noir grapes in the region. Champagne Pierre Brocard’s representative in Latvia: Truff le Pig.

Antoine Bouret, co-owner of Champagne Pertois Lebrun. Antoine, together with his brother Clément, represents the fifth generation of owners of Pertois Lebrun – they offer some of the brightest Côte des Blancs champagnes produced from less than ten hectares in the best grand and premier cru villages. Champagne Pertois Lebrun’s representative in Latvia: Noble Wine

Emmanuel Brochet, a unicorn of Champagne, producing acclaimed champagnes (Champagne Emmanuel Brochet) from just two and a half hectares. Brochet has entrusted the presentation of his champagnes in Riga to Mārtiņš Pīlēns, one of the pioneers of the grower champagne boom in Latvia, as well as Brochet's importer in Austria (bubblebistrot.com).

Marie-Christine Osselin, ambassador of Moët & Chandon, the world's most influential and recognizable Champagne brand, founded in the 18th century. Moët & Chandon’s representative in Latvia: Prike Latvia

Oh, and that's not all! We will be adding to the guest list and will soon publish the Champagnes that the chef de caves will generously serve at the Gala Dinner!
