Evelyn Waugh, one of the greatest writers (and let's be honest – also a drinker of copious amounts of fine wine), famously said that all you need for an ideal evening for two is a magnum of Champagne and a glass of cognac!

Let us dare to disagree with the master… For the closing dinner of our festival, we will enjoy at least nine rare magnums from the cellars of our friends, some of the most brilliant Champagne growers, Geoffroy, Tarlant, and Agrapart!

Why these three? All three have been friends of the festival for a long time, and we also wanted to express our symbolic gratitude for the 2024 Champagne harvest we experienced together… picking grapes in Geoffroy's vineyards, checking grape maturities with the Tarlants, and pressing the grapes with the Agraparts!

Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy and Benoit Tarlant will grace us with their presence and introduce their magnums of Champagnes themselves! And although Pascal and Ambroise Agrapart will not be joining us this time, they have also generously allocated very special magnums from their family cellar for this dinner!

We will publish the list of these unique magnums soon… but hurry up and start thinking what kind of champagne or wine you’d love to take along - to treat the other guests and winemakers!
