Pink champagne is hot, sophisticated and expensive! What better reason to assemble the most epic rosé champagne parade ever seen on our shores in the company of our friend, the world’s leading Champagne authority, Peter Liem and the festival's founder Aigars Nords? Ready?!
What shall we serve?
The cult grower camp will be represented by such super-rare rosés as Roses de Jeanne Creux d'Enfer Rosé (!!!) and Bérèche Campania Remensis Rosé… We’ll certainly pay tribute to Cumiéres with Geoffroy Rosé de Saignée and Georges Laval Rosé (dg. 2015!). We’ll also serve Tarlant, Pierre Paillard (Les Terres Roses) and Emmanuel Brochet (represented here with both Rosé d'Assemblage and Rosé de Saignée). Special Club devotees will be able to check out Paul Bara Special Club Rosé (the first Special Club pink champagne) and Moussé Special Club (100% Meunier)…. and so on.
The refined big houses will be represented by the greats and classics such as Dom Pérignon (yes!), Krug Rosé (yeah, baby!), Louis Roederer (possibly pink Cristal too!), Elisabeth Salmon (Billecart Salmon), Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon, Ruinart, good old Charles Heidsieck, Laurent Perrier, Bollinger Grande Année and many more!
In other words, we will pay our respect to both growers and houses, non-vintage, vintage and prestige cuvées, both rosé de saignée and rosé d'assemblage, from everyday and democratic to super-rare and unobtainable!
How will it work?
All the bottles (one of each cuvée) will be open at the bar (included in the ticket price, of course), while both Aigars and Peter, and, of course, the inimitable Truff le Pig team will help you out as bartenders. Stories, comments, conversations and chatter on us!
We will serve as many excellent Rosé bottles as there are guests at the event - one bottle of each champagne and a total of 30 guests and bottles. Obviously, not everyone will be able to get their hands on every champagne (since we can only pour one bottle for a limited number of guests), but in general, all of you will be able to wash down the contents of a whole bottle of epic Rosés!
Will there be snacks?
The chefs of Truff le Pig will work at full capacity, offering their exquisite junk-food – so feel free to order to your heart's content... but the pink champagne, of course, is on us!
