Vīns un Nords
Aigars Nords, founder of Riga Wine & Champagne festival and one of the developers of Latvia’s wine culture, has published his first wine book Wine & Nords. The main mission of the book – interpret the basics of the wine world in Latvian, while entertaining and inspiring the new generations of wine lovers. The book is available at rigawinechampagne.lv and largest bookstores in Latvia.
A considerable amount of the book is devoted to France’s classic regions, while author’s adventures in wine regions of the world have been documented in detail too. The material is a completely reworked and updated set of wine columns published in magazine KLUBS, Latvia’s leading lifestyle magazine, from 2010 to 2021.
Nords’ stories are personal and informal, and are complemented by brilliant design by Madara Krievina, illustrations by Maija Kurševa, and photos by Renārs Koris and author himself.
